"Hotel Saint Cosmas," Carousel30 Creative Director Greg Kihlström's animated short film was named an Editor's Pick in the Film and Animation category on YouTube today.
The award-winning short film was written and directed by Kihlström and illustrated by Ben Good. Carousel30 provided animation, video and audio post-production work. The film also includes several original songs by Rad Scientists, a Washington, DC area band.

Carousel30 wins at the 2007 ADDY Awards
Carousel30 was awarded for its work on the Detroit-Windsor Journal Project Web site last night at the 2007 DC ADDY Awards in Washington, DC. We were honored with a Citation of Excellence in the Flash-based Consumer Web sites category for the Detroit-Windsor Journal project site.
The Web site features a Flash-based CMS that integrates Yahoo! Mapping technology and keeps participants in the Project informed of the latest happenings and events.
The ADDY Awards are hosted by the Ad Club of Metropolitan Washington and feature the best in advertising from the region. They are recognized as one of the most prestigious awards given in the Washington DC area for excellence in Advertising and Design.

Modern Dentistry Web site launches
Our design for the Modern Dentistry Web site launched this week. The Web site features an appointment scheduler and links to the two Modern Dentistry offices in the suburban Chicago area.
Modern Dentistry sets itself apart from its competition by specializing in sedation dentistry, a safe alternative for those that are reluctant to visit the dentist. They have an established presence in Yorkville, Illinois and are just opening an office in Sugar Grove, Illinois.
The Web site design is part of an overall branding campaign that also includes television commercial production and post-production, logo design and print collateral design for the Chicago, Illinois dental practice.

Detroit-Windsor Journal Project Featured on NPR's 'All Things Considered'
The Detroit-Windsor Journal Project as featured on Friday's broadcast of National Public Radio's 'All Things Considered.' The Project draws together people from all walks of life in and around the Detroit, Michigan and Windsor, Ontario area to journal about their daily experiences.
Carousel30 has produced an award-winning Web site for the Detroit Windsor Journal Project, using a CMS with a Flash interface. The Web site also utilizes a mapping feature to help educate people about locations in and around the Detroit and Windsor area.
