The Winners of The 2006 W3 Awards have been announced by the International Academy of the Visual Arts today. Carousel30 ( http://www.carousel30.com ) received 2 awards: one for construction Web sites for the HMC Incorporated (Columbia, Maryland - http://www.hmcincorporated.com ) site, and one for Non-Profit Web sites for the Glen Echo Fire Department ( Bethesda, Maryland - http://www.gefd.org ). This is the third Web site award for the HMC Incorporated Web site, which also received an American Design Award and a Design Firms award, and the second for the Glen Echo Fire Department Web site, which received a Design Firms award for Excellence in Web Design earlier this year.
